"Stamm"
During the semester, the legendary "Stamm" or pub meeting takes place every last Wednesday of the month.
While having a drink and a small snack, it is the best possibility to get to know some other material scientists!
"Bergfest"
Once a year in early summer, the so-called "Bergfest" takes place, where members of the whole Materials
department have a leisurely BBQ on the Hönggerberg until well into the night!
Materials Soccer Cup
Also once a year in spring, various teams of the whole department are competing for victory in the Materials Soccer Cup.
Skiweekend
In winter, a skiing weekend is organized. This is a must for everyone who loves winter sports.
ESF Bar
The SMW also contributes its part to the legendary ESF, the party organized especially for all first year students.
For the new material science students, this is of course a unique possibility to establish first contact to higher semesters, which is always very useful!
